Do you know of someone planning to sit the Victorian Selective School Entrance Exam this year? Do they have a health care card? If so, tell them to apply for one of our 20 scholarships on offer. The scholarship provides them with all the online courses they need to prepare for the exam along with an in-person writing workshop on 16 May 2015 at the Age Library, Hume Learning Centre.

The selective school test (the main test that children sit in order to get into Macrob - aka The MacRobertson Girls’ High School, Melbourne High, Suzanne Cory and Nossal) is competitive with 70% of students missing out on a place. Just as your child would train to compete in a running race, this exam is a race – the time limit means your child will need to perform at their best and get as many questions right as possible. Students with ‘natural ability’ still need to be ‘exam ready’!
Exam Success believes that parents in disadvantaged areas cannot afford private school fees and selective schools are a chance to provide that level of education without the heavy financial burden. Also the cost of private tuition is often out of reach for parents, meaning children with ability and potential miss out and the cycle of inequality continues. This scholarship is our contribution to helping to break the cycle of inequality.
Apply, or send this to someone who would be interested in applying for the scholarship. Application form and more information can be found here:
